Washing-line
When dirty potatoes are supplied, it’s vital to clean them prior to processing. We are continuously developing new, sustainable technologies for this process. The components of your washing process will depend on how the potatoes arrive and how they are to be further processed in the line.

Machines in the Washing-line

Customer-specific
During the process of washing potatoes and other tuber crops (such as carrots and cassava), earth, stones and other contaminants are rapidly removed from the product. Based on your needs and wishes with respect to the end product, we propose the ideal combination of machines for this purpose in consultation with you.
Focus on sustainability and quality
The Tummers washing lines are developed with a focus on sustainability and quality. As a rule they include machines for removing soil, destoning, washing, separation and drying. We aim to provide a high-quality end product with minimal product loss for the lowest possible raw material cost and energy consumption. The processing capacity of a washing line varies from 5 tons up to as much as 160 tons of product per hour.
