Close collaboration responds to increased consumption of potato flakes

Expanded production

Recently the international manufacturer of processed potato products Lamb Weston / Meijer announced to expand its business in order to meet the world-wide increased demand for potato flakes. Therefore, the company expands its production by building a new factory in Kruiningen (NL). The new factory produces up to 30.000 tons of potato flakes a year, which is an significant increasement.

World leader

In order to achieve this ambitious project, Lamb Weston / Meijer called in the experts of Tummers Food Processing Solutions. The Dutch world leader in the field of machines for the production of potato flakes equipped Lamb Weston / Meijer with a state of the art multiple drum’s flake line, which contains all newly developed technologies.

Easier maintanance

Tummers Food Processing Solutions also made changes to its patented Autotrax, which allows for optimal hygiene during the processing of mashed potatoes to potato flakes. As the suspension and drive system of the Autotrax are now completely redesigned, the machine is easier to maintain and offers improved sanitation possibilities.
