Last week, the new chairman of the Dutch trade association for technology (FME) Theo Henrar visited the Tummers Group. Our management then provided a tour that really amazed our guest: “What a magnificent manufacturing company!”, was his first response.
From June 9 to June 11, Tummers Food Processing Solutions is participating for the first time in the CFIA Expo in France. On this expo, Sales Managers Barry Moeleker and Ronald Dekker will be happy to show visitors what Tummers can do for the French potato and vegetable processing industry. They will be ready in hall 3 at stand B19 to answer everyone’s questions.
The construction works during the first phase of the Tummers new building project are progressing steadily. This third construction update describes which activities have taken place at our new workshop recently and what the planning for the period coming up looks like.

Tummers Food Processing Solutions recently proved once again that their Destoner / Washer can process the most varied products. The machine building company supplied a Norwegian customer with a KW-700 for seaweed, which has a capacity of 50 tons per hour. Building a washing installation for this application was a first for Tummers!
The results of a Tummers starch production line at a Danish starch factory are right to be called astonishing! Between September and December last year, this process line consisting of four of our biggest washing installations ran 10 hours a day, washing a mind-blowing 700,000 tonnes of potatoes. Also, the expected yield of 130,000 tonnes of starch per season was easily exceeded by an astonishing 174,000 tonnes. A result to be proud of!

From 1 January 2021, the Tummers Food Processing Solutions logo shines on the uniform of the Belgian women's cycling team Bingoal Casino – Chevalmeire Cycling! With the regrettable cancellation of the beloved Cyclo-Cross World Cup in our hometown, we are pleased that we can still support cycling in this way.
