We started phase 2 of our Tummers Food Processing Solutions’ (FPS) new building project. That means that a part of our old building needed to be demolished to create space for our new offices and front desk. Although it was sad to see some history disappear with the demolition, we are looking forward to the nice, bright and open spaces we will get in return.
Construction update #6: Demolish and rebuild
Futureproof offices
Management offices will be realised in the new extension, as well as the office of our project leaders. And our visitors will be welcomed at the new front desk, warm and hospitable – just like Tummers is. We are extending the house style that you saw in previous renovation updates to this side of the building so that it becomes a whole, despite the different construction phases. The outside area is also undergoing a facelift, with a nice terrace for our colleagues and sufficient parking spaces, also for electric cars.
In 2024 our innovation center will also move to our main location in Hoogerheide. In this way we can serve our customers even better when researching the right solutions to achieve the best end product.

The contractor is working hard every day and the renovation is still going according to schedule. We planned to move into the new offices at the end of 2023. Until then we are still in a bit of a construction pit, but we are doing everything we can to make it as comfortable as possible for our colleagues and visitors. Renovation or not, you are always welcome at Tummers!
